James Fallon has worked in the surveying field for the past 20 years. Originally from Orlando, James discovered his passion for mapping while studying Civil Engineering at the University of Florida. After realizing his love for Land Surveying, he transferred to California State University Fresno where he completed the Surveying Engineering program. As ECG Inc.’s Principal Land Surveyor, James is responsible for surveying, mapping and construction staking projects, taking on tasks in both the field and the office. He has extensive experience working with GPS, geodetic control, topographic, cadastral and boundary mapping, and is thoroughly familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Throughout his career James has participated and served as officer in the Channel Coast Chapter of ACEC-California and the Channel Islands Chapter of the California Land Surveyor’s Association.
A lover of sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding, James is happy to work and live in a town so close to the water. As an active member of Ventura, James helps out with his daughter’s soccer team and is proud to work on projects that benefit the local community.
